Affected resident

Has the council fully considered the effects this proposal will have on existing residents? It seems that only those people who are living dircetly adjacent to the proposed have been consulted. How can the council fairly evaluate the effects that building these small dwellings will have on the community.
These dwellings have been described as being intended for use by "single people". Nearby areas such as Beaumont Grove, have been populated by "single people" and are now populated with a majority of single males and have also seen arise in antisocial behaviour.
That said, the proposed walk way between the proposed development and neighbouring properties would likely produce a new area of anti social behaviours.
In turn this would massively effect the wellbeing of existing residents and impact the value neighbouring properties. Not to mention limiting the access to green space for lots of dog walkers, children and people who exercise.
As a resident living very close to the proposed site this area is very often water logged and my property already has problems with drainage of our rear garden. In wet weather the proposed site is water logged with a very large puand deep puddle. If the development was to go ahead? Where would this water drain? Would this cause problems for my property? Previous comments have already reported the lack of maintenance of this area of land by Wigan Council, and i am in no doubt that there would not be any plans to change this going forward.
There are lots of other areas around wigan that should be considered, with better infrastructure that have had buildings on in the past. There are lots of brown belt sites too. that should be considered before zeroing in on small green spaces, that are used by existing communities. This estate only has two access roads and Heysham Road is very busy through out the day, and i must say I do worry about the impact this development would have on our physical, and mental well being.
There are several trees and patches of vegetation either on the proposed site and directly adjacent, is there consideration for the wildlife that inhabits these spaces? The proposed pathway that is missing from plans at the side of no3 would mean the removal of a large Holly tree too.
