Pedestrian Crossing at Springfield junction

I know this is on the plan for improving by TGFM but it has been delayed so often, I'm unsure if it's still going ahead. A proper pedestrian crossing is desperately needed where the 4 roads meet (Park Road, Woodhouse Lane, Frog Lane, Springfield Road). It is unsafe to cross currently. You have to run while one of of cars is on a red light, just before others move. It's not enough time and cars are constantly running through red lights. I can't teach my kids how to cross thos safely on their own.
