Pest control in Mesnes Park

The situation with rats seems to be out of control in Mesnes Park. I used to spend a lot of time in the park but avoid it due to the amount of rats running around. They come out onto the path on Park Road, lots of them are around the water and they run around the park including going onto the baby park. I believe they will stop people from walking in that area.
