Protected Cycle Lane on Park Road / Woodhouse Lane

Woodhouse Lane, Park Road and Frog Lane are a major roads into town from Wigan West, but are entirely unsafe for cyclists. Someone was knocked off their bike on Frog Lane this year. Cycle lanes could alleviate many of these very short town centre journeys currently taken by car. I sometimes use the pavement but that's full of cars and often is too thin, so I mostly don't bother.
