Issues and opportunities
In Autumn 2022, we invited local residents to have their say on the future of our borough to help us address some of our biggest challenges like fighting climate change, improving housing affordability, protecting our heritage and natural environment, plus ensuring we have enough homes, jobs, leisure and cultural facilities and infrastructure.
We had a fantastic response rate with over 1,400 residents taking part in the conversation.

We have collated all the insight and this will inform a further consultation on ‘Options and Preferences’ later this year (2023). A fuller response to the issues raised will be provided alongside that consultation.
