We continued to engage with people in 2022....
We got out and about in the community to learn more about what you want from your neighbourhood.
Between January and April last year we:
- Met community groups and councillors and held another scheme design workshop.
- Launched our monthly litter picks and lots of lovely residents and kids came to help!
- Arranged guided walks around Leigh.
- Hosted an 'On Your Bike' family bike ride.
- Led a guided bike ride exploring the new Bee Network routes in the borough.
- Held a number of popular Dr. Bike sessions to help people get their heads around inner tubes and tyres.
- Provided £650 of funding to Westleigh High School to help their after-school cycle club.
- Supported Leigh Neighbours Bike Library launch with a Dr Bike and took the opportunity to speak to parents, teachers and children about the proposals
