The preceding months were spent analysing all the feedback we received and developing the scheme designs.
- A number of design iterations were presented to key stakeholders, including ward members, schools, blue light services, network management and Leigh Neighbours Project committee.
- Traffic surveys were undertaken to understand the movement of all traffic coming in and out of the area.
- The scheme designs were presented to Transport for Greater Manchester's (TfGM) design review panel to ensure they met LTN 1/20 design guidelines.
