Consultation - phase two
14 July 2023 - 20 August 2023
The feedback you gave us back in March 2023 has helped to shape the latest scheme proposals.
Once again, thank you to everyone who got involved and took the time to share their views.
Phase 2 of the consultation will last for 6 weeks. Between 14th July to 20th August 2023 we invite you to get involved and help influence the proposals to reduce traffic and make it safer and more attractive for people to walk, wheel, and cycle spend time outdoors with friends and neighbours.
- Leaflet-drop to over 1,500 residents and businesses in the proposed scheme area. The leaflet details the changes we've made to the proposals based on your feedback and includes a map with all the proposals shown.
- Online
consultation platform with detailed explanations of the latest proposals and the technical drawings. Plus information on the next steps and FAQs. - Tactile and large print plans will be available in Leigh Library for anyone who has a visual impairment.
- A chance to share your views and feedback on the latest proposals. You can also share your suggestion on how we can further improve your local streets.
- You can influence other possible changes to your streets. Tell us which streets need improving and give us your suggestions. For example, tell us about any suitable places for plants and trees, where dropped kerbs are needed, or any uneven pavement surfaces that need sorting.
- A programme of face-to-face events, providing you with the opportunity to come and talk to us and view a larger set of design drawings.
